Jennifer grew up in Watchung, NJ, and began riding at the age of eight. She started out riding and showing in the hunter ring, but eventually began eventing under the tutelage of 2008 Olympic judge, Marilyn Payne. By the age of 16, Jennifer successfully completed her first international eventing competition competing a horse whom she trained from the show jumping ring to eventing.

In 2000, Jennifer acquired a talented off-the-track thoroughbred that had competed several novice-level events. Through diligent training and a rigorous competition schedule, Jennifer guided Mt. Colebrook to the top levels of eventing. By 2002, Jennifer placed third at the Virginia CCI*, Mt. Colebrook's first international-level competition. Shortly thereafter, Jennifer and Mt. Colebrook represented Area II at the North American Young Rider Championships in Chicago, IL, earning a team bronze medal and placing 10th individually. This was only the beginning of a long and successful partnership. Jennifer further developed her training and riding skills under the supervision of Olympic medalist and USEA Rider of the Year, Phillip Dutton. By 2003, Jennifer consecutively won at the Intermediate level including the Virginia Horse Trials, Groton House Horse Trials, and the Fair Hill Horse Trials. She also earned top finishes at the Stuart CIC** and Fair Hill CIC**. Jennifer then received the Area II Intermediate Rider Reserve Champion Award and subsequently began competing at the Advanced level by the age of 19.

While competing several horses at the top levels of eventing, Jennifer attended Bucknell University. She spent
a semester abroad at the University of Ulster in Northern Ireland studying Peace and Conflict Resolution. She also
interned in a psycho-therapy clinic, working with victims of terrorism. Jennifer assisted in group therapy sessions,
which taught coping methods to victims suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Jennifer took her experiences in Northern Ireland back to Bucknell to finish her senior
research project on the effects ofgroup psychotherapy on persons suffering from Post
Traumatic Stress Disorder. Jennifer graduated Bucknell University with Bachelor of Arts
Degrees in Psychology and European History.

Upon graduation, Jennifer interned at the
United States Equestrian Foundation in
the Athlete Services department. During
her internship, she acted as a liaison between
U.S.E.F. management and Olympic athletes.
This opportunity gave her a glipse into the
management of the sport of eventing at an
international level. Jennifer also was given
the opportunity to winter in Aiken, SC preparing
and schooling horses at Phillip Dutton's True
Prospect Farm.

After the retirement of Mt. Colebrook and the
sale of several young horses, Jennifer began
working in medical research. She spent two years
employed as a researcher in spinal cord injury
rehabilitation at the Kessler Rehabilitation Hospital. During
her time there, she lead the data collection process for The
Northern New Jersey Spinal Cord Injury System (NNJSCIS),
one of only sixteen such centers in the United States. This included
recruiting and interviewing newly-injured patients with different
levels of paralysis.

Now Jennifer has returned to the equestrian industry and has started her
own business, teaching and training in Oldwick, NJ. She also has several
talented horses competing in eventing and the hunter/jumper ring. Most notably,
World Premiere, a young off the track thoroughbred who is competing preliminary this year.
